• We believe the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to be the only true God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – sovereign over all creation. (John 17.3; Matthew 28.19; 2 Corinthians 13.14)


• We believe the Holy Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God superseding in authority the traditions and customs of men (2 Timothy 3.16; Matthew 15.3)


• All things both seen and unseen were created by God and for God (Colossians 1.16)


• We believe in the reality of angels, Satan and demons (Hebrews 1.14; Matthew 4.10; 8.31)

• We believe that through Adam’s disobedience to God the entire human race sinned, falling into a reprobate state wherein by nature, man is an enemy of God, unable to overcome his propensity to sin and powerless to save himself from its hold (Romans 5.6,8,19; Ephesians 2.3)


• We believe that all men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are therefore absolutely dependant on the mercy of God for salvation (Romans 3.23; 11.32)


• We believe Christ, the central object of all Scripture, to be both fully God and fully man (Philippians 2.5-8)

• We believe that God has made Jesus of Nazareth both Lord and Christ, and that He is our Saviour, Redeemer and the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls (Acts 2.36; 1 Peter 1.18-19; 2.24-25; Titus 2.13)

• We believe that He was born of a virgin, was tempted at all points just as we are and yet lived a sinless life (Mathew 1.23; Hebrews 4.15)

• We believe that His death on a cross fully atoned for the sins of all who believe in Him (Isaiah 53.5-6)

• We believe that He was buried and that on the third day He rose again having provided complete and eternal redemption through His blood to all who put their faith in Him (1 Corinthians 15.15.3-4; Hebrews 9.12)

• We believe that He is now seated at the right hand of God with complete authority over all creation (Ephesians 1.19-23)

• We believe that He has been glorified and is worthy of the worship of both men and angels (Revelation 5.1-14)

• We believe that salvation is found in no one else and that His Name which is above every other Name is the only Name given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4.12)

• We believe that He forever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him and that He is able to save them to the uttermost (Hebrews 7.25)


• We believe that salvation is the result of the grace of God alone, and that no man can be saved through trying to keep the law or through his own acts of righteousness (Ephesians 2.8-9)

• We believe that faith in Jesus Christ gives man access to the grace of God, and that forgiveness of sin, regeneration, justification, righteousness and sanctification are the direct result of the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 4.22-23; 5.1-2; Matthew 8.2; Acts 26.18; John 1.12)

• We believe that those who refuse to trust solely in Jesus Christ and His atoning work for their salvation refuse the grace of God and will die in their sins (John 8.24)


• We believe in the imminent physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth and that He will save those who believe in Him and obey Him from the wrath of God that will come upon the disobedient (2 Thessalonians 1.6-10; 1 Thessalonians 5.1-3)

• We believe that no man knows the day or the hour of Christ’s return but that all men must live in a constant state of expectancy and readiness (Matthew 24.36, 44)

• We believe in the physical resurrection of the dead both the righteous and the wicked (Acts 24.15)

• We believe that God has prepared a kingdom for those who love Christ and eagerly await His return and that they will reign upon the earth (James 2.5; Hebrews 9.28; Revelation 5.10)

• We believe in the glorification of God’s holy people and that when we see Christ we will be made like Him, for we shall see Him as he is (1 John 3.2)

• We believe that God has prepared a new heaven and a new earth and a new Jerusalem, the City of God, which shall be the home of righteousness, and that God’s people will one day see His face and have God dwelling amongst them forever (Revelation 21.1-7)


• We believe that God has appointed Jesus of Nazareth to be the judge of all men, both living and dead, and that he will decide their eternal destiny (Acts 10.42)

• We believe that all men will give an account to Him for the things they have done in the body whether good or bad (Romans 14.9-12)

• We believe that those whose names are not found in the Lamb’s book of life will be thrown forever into the lake of fire (Revelation 20.15)

• We believe that only those whose names are found written in the Lamb’s book of life will inherit eternal life and the promised kingdom of God (Revelation 21.27)


• We believe that Jesus Christ has given His church the responsibility of preaching this message of salvation through faith in Him to every nation of the world (Matthew 28.19-20)

• We believe that Jesus will not return until this has happened (Matthew 24.14)

• We believe in the coming of the Holy Spirit upon God’s servants both men and woman as He did in the day of Pentecost, and in their subsequent empowerment to be witnesses of Christ in the world (Acts 1.8)

• We believe that the Gospel message is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe it (Romans 1.16)

• We believe that Christ still heals, delivers and performs miracles through His obedient servants today (Mark 16.17-18; John 14.12)

• We believe in water baptism by immersion to be a command of Christ (Matthew 28.19; Acts 8.36-39)

• We believe in a process of spiritual growth for every believer and that the goal of the Great Commission is to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28.19; Ephesians 4.15-16)


• We believe that God demands holiness and godliness of all men (1 Peter 1.1.14-16; Titus 2.11-13)

• We believe that God’s command is for men to obey Jesus Christ His Son and to serve Him with all their hearts, and that only through faith in Jesus Christ and in obeying His Word can men live in a way that pleases God (Acts 3.22-23; 2 Corinthians 5.15)

• We believe that sexual immorality, lying, greed, covetousness, theft, hatred, slander, selfishness, witchcraft, drunkenness and every form of idolatry are all unacceptable to God and that He will judge all who continue to practise the like (1 Corinthians 6.9-10; Galatians 5.19-21; Ephesians 5.3-6; Revelation 21.8)
